In just over a week, the first brilliant group of Stagedoor students will be starting their journey with us, and I couldn’t be more excited. In the meantime, Stagedoor HQ is being prepped and made ready. At the moment, it doesn’t look like it will ever be ready! DIY is totally not my thing, but I’ve been painting walls, removing carpets, scraping glue off concrete (worst job ever), installing broadband, ordering furniture and generally working my socks (and those of my husband) off to ensure that it will be ready for Tuesday 19th September.

Not only will our space be a great place for our students to work, but it will be a lovely rehearsal space and meeting space for local groups. We have really competitive hire rates, so let us know if we can be of service.

In other news, we’ve organised and are ready to launch our bespoke CPD service for drama teachers. In the current climate, lots of schools are having to use non-specialists to teach drama, so we’re delighted to be able to offer experience and expertise to help with writing schemes of work, organising lessons, planning activities and even helping with extra-curricular drama or school productions.
