Extremism – a play about friendship, fear, and the increasing polarisation of our society.

Stagedoor director Jenny Cameron has been at Bristol Old Vic this week, directing current students in a production as part of the National Theatre Connections festival.

The play – “Extremism” by Anders Lustgarten is a hard-hitting topical piece about the impact of the government’s Prevent strategy. It looks at how fear, prejudice and uncertainty affects a group of school students after one of their classmates is arrested.

The performance was a huge success. Next year, Stagedoor Learning will be performing as part of the festival – watch this space!
