Stagedoor’s director Jenny is busy preparing current students for performances this week as part of the National Theatre Connections festival. The National Theatre runs this every year, to showcase young performers across the country. Jenny’s company MAPA, based at Millbrook Academy in Brockworth will be performing Exremism by Anders Lustgarten on Thursday 9th and Friday 10th March. Lustgarten’s recent play “7 Acts of Mercy” was produced at the Royal Shakespeare Company to outstanding reviews. MAPA is really excited about performing Extremism, which explores what might happen to a group of
students whose classmate is arrested under the government’s Prevent strategy. Public performance 7.30 Friday 10th March at Millbrook Academy. Tickets are free.
