This week saw the first set of auditions for applicants for September 2017, and what a pleasure it was! I was really impressed with the young performers I met, and very much enjoyed chatting to them. There were some excellent audition speeches – ranging from recent plays such as DNA by Dennis Kelly to Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Stagedoor’s debut class looks like it’s going to be filled with talented, passionate students who really want to make their mark in the industry – how exciting! Can’t wait for September!
